Operators Support 4th Edition of Insurance Meets Tech

Insurance sector operators have thrown their weights behind the forth coming Insurance Meets Tech (IMT 4.0) conference holding in Lagos.
The operators said it was part of their efforts towards enthroning the regime of technology driven insurance market in Nigeria.
The event which showcases the intersection of insurance and technology is a platform designed to discuss innovations and operational efficiencies within the insurance sector in West Africa.

Speaking on the significance of this support, Convener of IMT Conferences, Odion Aleobua, said, “The calibre of sponsors and partners for IMT 4.0 reflects the industry’s collective commitment to shaping a future where innovation, digital adoption, and lifestyle relevance are at the heart of insurance. With this level of backing, IMT 4.0 is set to deliver its boldest impact yet,” he said.

This year’s edition has the theme: “Innovating for the New Trybe.”

Aleobua said IMT 4.0 would highlight the opportunities for technology-driven insurance models that resonate with today’s customers, especially Millennials and Gen Z.

He said a major highlight of this year’s edition would be the Executive Dialogue to be led by the Commissioner for Insurance (CFI), Olusegun Ayo Omosehin, with the theme “NIIRA: A New Era Beckons”, which will dissect the recently released NAICOM Insurtech Guidelines and their implications for the future of Nigeria’s insurance sector.
