Rotary Club of Ewutuntun Holds Membership Campaign Walk on Saturday

Rotary Club of Ewutuntun, District 9111 is set to hold membership campaign walk on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 9 am.

According to the President Rotary Club of Ewutuntun, Rotarian (Hon.) Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe, “ the membership campaign walk begins at 9 am at Ibis Royale hotel , Mafoluku junction Airport road to 7 & 8 Junction, en route Ajao estate and ends at 10 am at Airport road, to create awareness and recruit interested and qualified non- Rotarians to join Rotary International, people of action doing good in the world.”

Ogundipe, the lawmaker representing Oshodi- Isolo Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly stated that, “ the membership campaign walk includes music, funfare and fanfare, distribution of flyers and survey exercise.”

In her contribution, the Club Administration Chairman, Rotarian Olaitan Azeez added that, Membership Seminar with the theme “Monetary Costs and Membership in Rotary” follows at 10 am at Ibis Royale hotel, Airport road, Lagos to be delivered by past Assistant Governor (PAG) Rotary International District 9111, Samson Okenyi.”

Club past President and PAG Samson Okenyi expressed enthusiasm about the Membership Seminar, stating that, “friends of Rotary, philanthropic individuals should come and learn, network and gain insights on humanitarian services, as we deepen our understanding of membership and its value.”

Okenyi further added that,
“Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action.”

“The largest service organization, that connects people of all ages and backgrounds to create lasting change in their communities and around the world.”

Okenyi further enjoined “the good- spirited individuals and the public to join Rotary,” describing it as “an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world,” he said.
