Beginnings to Professional Heights: Sani Abdulkadir Earns Full Professional Recognition in Estate Surveying and Valuation
In a remarkable journey marked by persistence, growth, and unwavering dedication, Esv. Hon. Dr. Sani Abdulkadir (Dakaci) has officially attained full professional recognition in Nigeria’s estate surveying and valuation sector — a field central to sustainable development, land management, and economic planning.
Dr. Abdulkadir’s journey reached a significant milestone with his certification by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) on March 20, 2025, granting him the legal and professional authority to practise as a Registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer across the country.
This achievement comes just months after his formal Associate Induction into the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), held on December 3, 2024. His membership, effective from October 5, 2024, solidified his status within a respected body of professionals entrusted with shaping Nigeria’s real estate and built environment landscape.
“This journey has been anything but easy,” Dr. Abdulkadir shared. “From nights spent studying, to field experiences that tested every ounce of patience and character — this certification is more than a title. It’s a reflection of purpose, service, and staying the course.”
Having grown up with a deep-seated belief in the power of land to transform communities, Sani’s professional evolution has been driven by a passion for responsible land use, housing development, and equitable access to property resources. His dual recognition by NIESV and ESVARBON reflects not just academic and technical excellence, but the character and ethics required to serve with distinction.
Beyond his professional practice, Dr. Abdulkadir plays an active role in public service and advocacy. He currently serves as the Kaduna State Director of the Nigeria First Agenda and Coordinator of the Nationwide Tinubu Connect Associates (NTCA). His work bridges policy, youth mentorship, and grassroots empowerment — underscoring his commitment to nation-building.
Both the NIESV leadership and ESVARBON Board praised his dedication to the profession, encouraging other young professionals to emulate his blend of humility, diligence, and visionary leadership.
Dr. Abdulkadir’s journey stands as a beacon for aspiring estate professionals across Nigeria. It is a reminder that success is not handed out — it is earned through resilience, clarity of purpose, and service beyond self.
