Twiva Secures Strategic Investment From Sony Innovation Fund to Accelerate Growth of Africa’s Creator Economy

Twiva, Africa’s leading creator monetization platform, has secured investment from the Sony Innovation corporate venture capital arm of Sony Group Corporation.


The investment marks a significant milestone in Twiva’s journey to build a thriving digital ecosystem; empowering creators to monetize their influence and enabling brands to drive authentic commerce and engagement across Africa.


The investment is part of the Sony Innovation Fund’s growing commitment to Africa, aimed at unlocking the potential of emerging digital ecosystems; particularly within the entertainment industries. Twiva becomes one of the early pioneering companies in Sony Innovation Fund’s Africa-focused portfolio, catalyzing the growth of the continent’s vibrant creator economy.
