The Acting National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon Nafiu Bala, has vowed to fortify the party’s organisational framework ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Monday, Bala said his leadership would prioritise building strong party institutions, deepening internal democracy, and fostering inclusivity.
“I am deeply honoured to accept your endorsement as Acting National Chairman of the ADC,” Bala told the gathering, which included members of the Board of Trustees (BOT), the National Executive Committee (NEC), state chairpersons, and the party’s 2023 gubernatorial candidates.
According to him, the party will focus on developing policies, implementing resolutions, and establishing strategic partnerships with individuals and groups willing to collaborate.
Bala stressed that unity and cooperation were critical to achieving the ADC’s objectives and delivering a better future for Nigerians.
“I will lead this party with integrity, wisdom, and dedication. Together, we will build a stronger, more united, and more prosperous political organisation,” he said.
He commended party stakeholders for their trust and confidence, pledging to work closely with them to strengthen grassroots structures ahead of the next electoral cycle.
The ADC leader called for collective effort, saying, “Let us work together to achieve our party’s vision and contribute to the progress of our dear nation.”
