Ahead of the SheCan Conference, Ezinne Ezeani, Founder of SheCan Nigeria, has called on women from all walks of life to pursue their highest potential.

Speaking at a press briefing, Ezeani announced the upcoming “SheCan Do More 6.0 Conference”—a flagship event dedicated to women’s empowerment—set to take place on July 18 in Lagos.

She revealed that over 5,700 participants have already registered, highlighting the significant influence SheCan Nigeria continues to have.

According to the founder, this year’s conference will feature a range of activities, including hands-on training sessions, business and career roundtables, as well as impactful mentorship programs led by accomplished female leaders.

“If you are a woman, you have the potential to do and be more, regardless of your background,” Ezeani stated.

“We encourage women to seek advancement not just based on gender, but because of their capabilities, strong voices, and innate ability to achieve remarkable things.”

MTN’s Chief Marketing Officer, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, said the company’s involvement in SheCan is more than a symbolic partnership.

Represented by the General Manager, Business Intelligence, Funke Alabi, she emphasised, “At MTN, we believe growth only has meaning when it is inclusive.

“That is why we are so proud to be aligning with SheCan Nigeria, a movement that sees the same world we do: one where women are not only visible but audible, not only invited but empowered.”

Ikenna-Emeka reaffirmed MTN’s commitment to gender equity and inclusive growth with its partnership for the SheCan conference among others like Y’ellopreneur, Women in Tech, and the Y’ello Mums Internship Programme.
