NECO Releases 2025 BECE Results

The National Examination Council NECO has released the Basic Education Certificate Examination BECE results it conducted last May.

179,201candidates sat for the examination.from schools throughout the country.

According to a statement made available to newsmen in Minna on Wednesday by the Acting Director Information and Public Relations of NECO Mr Azeez Sani, the result was released after a meeting of the award committee held in Minna headquarters of the Council.

The certification by the committee headed by Dr (Mrs) Folake Olatunji David, Director Basic Education in the federal Ministry of education led to the release of the results.” Azeez Sani said

Sani added that the award committee meeting which was also attended by some Secondary School principals from across the country expressed satisfaction with the processes that were adopted making the committee to approve the release of the results

The statement said the award committee had approved the date and timetable for the resit examination which will commence on July 23 and end on July 24 .
