Nigeria, Paris Forge Connection through Cultural Tourism
Efforts to strengthen cultural and tourism ties between Nigeria and France gained fresh momentum as Paris-based destination management company, Parisi Tour engaged stakeholders at an event in Lagos.
Themed ‘The Paris Luxury Experience’, the event brought together travel consultants, media professionals, high-net-worth individuals, and tourism stakeholders to explore opportunities for curated travel experiences linking Nigerian tourists with cultural destinations across Paris.
The initiative is part of Parisi Tour’s wider strategy to engage the West African market, particularly Nigeria, and offer customised access to France’s cultural and historic landmarks through bespoke travel packages.
In his remarks, Quentin Guellec, Chief Executive Officer of Parisi Tour, highlighted the changing demands in global travel and the company’s approach to meeting those expectations.
“At Parisi Tour, we recognise that today’s travellers seek more than just destinations, they want meaningful and personalised experiences. Our packages go beyond standard itineraries, offering immersive access to major landmarks and lesser-known locations across Paris that help create long-lasting memories.”
Head of Communication at Parisi Tour,Yannick Leroyer, described Nigeria as a key market in the company’s expansion drive.

The engagement included an overview of the company’s operational model, with a focus on experiential tourism , a sector increasingly defined by authenticity, customisation, and elevated service delivery. Offerings range from private museum tours and visits to historic sites, to gastronomic experiences and exclusive transportation options.
Among those present were travel content creators and influencers, including Angel Obasi, Tennie Oyewole, Favour Onyeoziri, and Temilola Balogun, alongside other players in the media and tourism sectors.
The event marked a step toward fostering deeper people-to-people engagement through cultural tourism, further strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and France.
