Happy Moment for Extraordinary Achiever, Maureen Tamuno

Oftentimes, the Group Managing Director, Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL), Ambassador Maureen Tamuno, has proven her stewardship to the selfless cause, having served in different capacities.

Before her present position as GMD AICL, Tamuno held several positions, including her tenure as a top lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly. Her beautiful story as the representative of her people in the Ogubolo Constituency remains one still being told in glowing terms.

As a High Commissioner for Nigeria in Jamaica, she performed excellently well. Again, her performance since she was appointed by the Minister of the FCT, Mr. Nyesom Wike to oversee the affairs of AICL, has been nothing but highly extraordinary.  Apart from that, she is the first female to be appointed as the GMD of the investment company, and she has recorded many firsts and still counting.

That her workaholic disposition has taken her to places where kings wine and queens dine is a testament to her growing influence and resultant affluence. A force to be reckoned with in Nigeria’s political and business sector, her impact readily qualifies her as one of the most audacious women Nigeria can boast of.

 The exceptional achiever grabbed life by the lapel and transformed to an enviable status filled with accomplishments. This has not only earned her laurels and awards, but has also wormed her into the hearts of many.

The brainy woman was celebrated last Friday, June 13, 2025, during her birthday. It was indeed an opportunity for the staff and AICL to celebrate the woman who impacted so much in their lives. They celebrated her to the high heavens as they poured her torrents of tributes and encomia.
