Akpoazaa Foundation Honors Obijackson at 65, Awards Scholarships to 16 Okija Indigenes
In a heartfelt celebration, Dr. Frank Odinaka Igbojindu, Chairman of the Akpoazaa Foundation and an indigene of Okija, on Friday April 18, 2025 honored Dr. Sir Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi (GMD of Obijackson Group) on his 65th birthday. Dr. Igbojindu expressed deep appreciation for Obijackson’s significant contributions to education and the development of Okija, stating, “This man has transformed the face of our town through his dedication and vision.”
This year marks the second edition of the One Million Naira Scholarship initiative, established in honor of Dr. Obiejesi. The first edition took place in April 2023, benefiting ten Okija indigenes. This year, sixteen deserving students were awarded scholarships across various educational levels: 2 tertiary students, 4 secondary school students, and 10 primary school pupils.
Dr. Igbojindu affirmed the foundation’s commitment to this initiative, promising that it will continue annually by God’s grace.
