Ennie Wears Launches ÒBÌNRÍN: Stories of HER – A Fashion Collection Celebrating African Women

Lagos-based Afrocentric streetwear brand, Ennie Wears, has unveiled its latest collection, ÒBÌNRÍN: Stories of HER, in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025. Inspired by the resilience and power of African women, the collection features a bold kimono and pant set, made from a fusion of Aṣọ-Òkè and urban materials.

At the heart of the design is a striking artistic print of an African woman’s face, surrounded by words like “strength,” “trailblazer,” and “resilient”, reinforcing the message of empowerment. According to Eniola Robert, Founder and Creative Director of Ennie Wears, the collection is more than just fashion—it’s a movement.

“ÒBÌNRÍN is about storytelling, empowerment, and redefining the way we see women in fashion. With this piece, we are amplifying the voices of women, reminding them that they are strong, bold, and unstoppable,” she said.

Beyond style, Ennie Wears is using the collection to drive social impact, with 20% of the proceeds supporting the ‘Clothe the Street’ initiative, which provides clothing and essentials to underserved communities.

Since its March 8 launch, ÒBÌNRÍN: Stories of HER has continued to gain attention, resonating with women who see fashion as a tool for self-expression and empowerment.
