Academic City University Ranks High in 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Ranking

Academic City University, Ghana, has achieved a notable ranking in the 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking. This recognition showcases the university’s growing impact, commitment to academic excellence, and its position as a leading institution in Ghana and West Africa.

The Times Higher Education Ranking evaluates universities on their research contributions, innovation, and academic excellence. Academic City’s ranking was a notable achievement, considering it was only established seven years prior and is regarded as Ghana’s top university for STEM and entrepreneurship.

In Ghana, the university ranked 6th overall, reinforcing its position as one of the top universities in the country. It also ranked 2nd in Resources and Finance, demonstrating its ability to manage funds effectively while promoting academic excellence. Furthermore, it secured 5th place in Student Engagement, highlighting its commitment to building strong connections with students through innovative teaching and support.

The university also ranked 4th in Africa Impact, emphasizing its significant contributions to sustainable development in Ghana, ahead of many other institutions. These rankings demonstrate Academic City’s commitment to providing top-quality education, focusing on students, and promoting ethical and sustainable practices.
