Fintech NGR Appoints New Chair

The FinTech Association of Nigeria (FintechNGR), has announced the appointment of the Managing Director of Remita, Mr. ‘DeRemi Atanda as the Chair of the Coordination Committee for the Fintech CEOs and Founders Forum.

The association in a statement noted that Atanda’s appointment builds on his exceptional leadership, visionary approach, and steadfast contributions to the financial services industry.

In his new role, the appointee would be leading the forum in driving initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth within Nigeria’s fintech sector. 

He will be working closely with industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and innovators to champion growth-focused policies and programs to drive global competitiveness of Nigeria’s fintech industry. 

In his remark, Chief Operating Officer of FintechNGR, Dr. Babatunde Obrimah, described the appointee as one who has consistently spearheaded innovative strategies for sustainable economic growth, expressing optimism about FintechNGR accomplishments under Atanda’s leadership.
