Nigerian Musician TREYY, Set To Release Video for “Introvert Anthem”

Nigeria music artist, TREYY, has revealed a plan to released Introvert Anthem, he noted that Introvert Anthem, an upbeat and unconventional track, had a particularly unique inspiration.
During an interview with newsmen, TREYY highlighted that Introvert Anthem was inspired by a friend’s joke about how society rarely normalizes staying indoors and enjoying oneself as much as people who go out.
He added that working on the track required a producer who could fully understand and help him achieve his vision.
“Introvert Anthem is a totally different sound from what I’m used to. I had to work with a producer who could guide me toward achieving the desired result. I’m especially excited about this track because it’s unlike anything you hear nowadays. I believe I’m one of the first to commercially push a track with this theme,” he said.
The artist explained that many fast-tempo club tunes today often overlook introverts who prefer to enjoy themselves in solitude.
This realization led him to create a song that captures the perspective of introverts, offering a fresh narrative in a music landscape dominated by extroverted themes.
“There were radical changes in how I created these new tracks,” he said. “For Introvert Anthem, I had to put myself in the shoes of people who don’t enjoy going out to party, which is different from my personal character and not in line with the usual trending music themes. To achieve this, I had to think outside the Nigerian music box.”
He said, “Introvert Anthem, as the name implies, is about having fun from the perspective of a typical introvert. On the other hand, Bamilo tells a story of determination and love at first sight, capturing the emotions of wooing someone in a club setting.”
While there are no official visuals for the tracks yet, TREYY hinted that a video for Introvert Anthem would be released soon.
He described it as a nostalgic track that captures the relatable experience of approaching someone in a club and trying to win them over.
TREYY acknowledged that the biggest challenge in producing these tracks was coordinating with his Nigeria-based producer while working from a different location. Despite the hurdles, he expressed confidence in the songs’ ability to resonate with listeners.
“These are very relatable songs, and I hope people can connect with them and have fun listening.
“The music industry today allows for experimentation, and I’ve taken advantage of that in my new releases,” he said.
Looking ahead, TREYY revealed plans for more releases in the near future, with tours coming eventually. “The long-term goal is to continue delivering good music to everyone while making a living from it,” he added.
TREYY’s latest tracks highlight his evolving approach to music, combining creativity and relatability to explore themes that resonate with diverse audiences.
