Tripplex Launches Platform to Simplify Household, Community Bill Payments

A new fintech platform, Tripplex, has been launched to help individuals, households and communities manage recurring bills and shared financial responsibilities with ease.

The solution, developed by tech entrepreneurs and co-founders of Tripplex Technologies, Israel Ohue and Samuel Iweibo, is designed to automate bill payments and eliminate the stress associated with tracking multiple financial obligations.

Available on both iOS and Android devices, the platform enables users to manage utilities, subscriptions and community contributions from a single interface, providing what its creators describe as a more organized approach to handling everyday expenses in Nigeria’s growing digital economy.

For many Nigerians, managing recurring bills such as internet subscriptions, electricity payments and estate dues remains a largely manual process, often leading to missed deadlines, poor coordination and lack of transparency, especially when multiple people are responsible for contributions.

Speaking on the motivation behind the innovation, co-founder Samuel Iweibo said the platform was developed to address the challenges associated with communal living and shared financial commitments.

“We built Tripplex to bridge the coordination gap in communal living and modern households. In a digital-first economy, the friction of ‘who has paid’ or ‘when is the deadline’ shouldn’t exist. We are providing a single source of truth for group finances,” he said.

The platform allows users to automate recurring payments, ensuring bills are settled on time while reducing the risk of service disconnections. It also introduces contribution groups where members can track and verify payments for shared expenses such as household utilities or community dues.

According to co-founder Israel Ohue, Tripplex was designed to address the fragmented nature of payment systems that many users currently rely on.

The platform also features smart notifications to remind users of upcoming payments, flexible payment options including cards, bank transfers and digital wallets, as well as a comprehensive dashboard that provides real-time visibility into bill activities and group contributions.

Beyond individual users, the founders disclosed plans to introduce Tripplex Business, a feature aimed at helping businesses manage multiple service providers and recurring operational costs from a single dashboard.

Ohue noted that the feature would help entrepreneurs streamline payment integrations and gain better visibility into their financial operations.

Tripplex is currently available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, offering individuals, households and communities a digital solution for organizing recurring bills and shared contributions.

Tripplex Technologies, founded by Israel Ohue and Samuel Iweibo, focuses on developing financial tools that simplify how people coordinate, track and automate everyday payments in an increasingly digital world.
