Senami Sosu Joins Miss Nigeria Board

The MD/CEO of Imanes Interiors Limited, Senami Sosu, has been appointed as a new member of the board of Miss Nigeria, joining a distinguished lineup that includes accomplished filmmaker and creative entrepreneur, Ego Boyo; 24th Miss Nigeria, and British-trained accountant, Wunmi Ogunbiyi; and Associate Vice President and Portfolio Manager at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), Aisha Abba Kyari. Additionally, Chioma Okigbo and Olatomiwa Williams have been welcomed as the newest members of the board.

The appointment announced on the official Instagram page of Miss Nigeria has sparked a wave of positive comments and feedback, with many applauding the credibility of the board. This marks a significant milestone as talented screen star Rita Dominic-Anosike takes the helm as the chairperson for the first time. Since Dominic-Anosike assumed the role of board chairman in October 2023, the Miss Nigeria pageant has experienced a rejuvenation of positivity and empowerment, building upon its legacy dating back to 1957.

With over 25 years of experience in the interior design industry, Sosu has demonstrated her expertise and creativity, expanding her ventures into the real estate sector with remarkable success. Her diverse business interests have led her to actively engage in multiple industries, including oil and gas and mining, where she currently serves on the boards of two companies, contributing actively to their operations.

Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literary Studies from the University of Lagos, Sosu further honed her skills by completing the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IOD) Company Directors Courses and attending various business and management programs. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is deeply dedicated to philanthropy, particularly advocating for women’s and children’s causes.
Sosu’s commitment to family and community underscores her role as a prominent leader and advocate for impactful leadership and womanhood.
