His breakthrough came with the Parchive App, a mobile innovation he developed to solve a problem millions of Nigerians face daily parking.
The extraordinary app allows users to locate, reserve, and pay for parking spaces in real time, reducing traffic congestion and promoting safer urban mobility. Since its launch in 2020, Parchive has processed over 1,000 transactions and is
poised to scale across key African cities as governments push for smart-city solutions.
Before his foray into entrepreneurship, Oluyinka worked at the DEME Group, a global leader in marine engineering.
There, he managed high-impact digital systems for infrastructure
development, focusing on Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technologies and
hydrographic data systems that support port expansion, channel dredging, and offshore
construction.
His strategic leadership contributed to multibillion-dollar projects such as the Tema Port Expansion Project in Ghana and the Nigerian Ports Authority’s optimization program both of which play a critical role in regional trade and GDP.
Oluyinka’s reach is international, but his heart remains deeply connected to Africa’s development.
He served as a lead technical advisor to governments and private developers on geospatial and
automation solutions, providing insights that have directly impacted urban infrastructure and
maritime safety.
His ability to connect advanced systems with local needs positions him uniquely in the global digital economy.
Oluyinka holds a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics from the University of
Lagos, and an MBA in Strategy and Technology Operations from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
While at NYU, he authored and presented cutting-edge strategy reports on the global impact of
artificial intelligence, digital commerce, and emerging technologies.
His academic work has
informed policy recommendations and inspired emerging African innovators to bridge business
with digital transformation.
Throughout his career, Oluyinka has received multiple honors and featured in panels, webinars,
and publications addressing the future of Africa’s digital cities, enterprise automation, and smart
infrastructure.
