Cleric Admonishes Christians to Reflect Jesus’ Virtues to Others

Christians have been admonished to reflect the birth of Jesus Christ in their ways of life for others to justify the reason for the season.
Disclosing this was the Senior Pastor Overcomers Pentecostal Prayer Assembly, Reverend Samuel Ogedengbe, at the Carol of Nine Lessons of The New Seraph Initiative, held in Lagos, recently.
Speaking on the theme for the service: “The New Kingdom,” Ogedengbe said that the birth of Jesus Christ was not a coincidence but rather purposeful to redeem mankind from their sins as well give eternal hope.
The former Senior Adviser on Religious Matter to former Lagos S, Mr.tate Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, added that the Christians must beyond this period reflect the virtues of Jesus Christ to all their neighbours.
“As we celebrate this period, let us all reflect on all the virtues our Lord Jusus showed to all mankind.”
The Christian cleric emphasised on the prophecy of Christ’s Kingdom, which knows no end, hence, enjoined Nigerians at large to live peacefully among themselves in order to enjoy this eternal reign of the saving King.
On her side, the founder of The New Seraph Initiative, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, gave thanks to God for sparing their lives and stated that though everyone desired the New Kingdom but are not ready to surrender for the New Kingdom service.
Mrs. Yomi-Sholoye maintained that this was why Jesus came to preach salvation that all might be saved.
She enjoined the worshippers to celebrate the yuletide in moderation and to remember the less privileged.
Highlight of the service was awards to outstanding Seraphs, dignitaries and prayers for Nigeria to overcome her various challenges.
