Big Klef to hold virtual performance and album listening

Nigerian born US based afro trap artiste Kenneth Ofigho, better known by his stage name “BIG KLEF” has announced he will be performing songs from his forthcoming EP “Afro Trap 2”, on the 1st of October 2021. The singer, songwriter and producer, announced the surprise performance just a few hours prior to October 1st which is Nigeria’s independence.

Big Klef, posted the news earlier on his Instagram story, saying the virtual gig will be concert hosted on his Instagram live. A description beneath the post read: “Welcome to AFRO TRAP 2 the EP. Kenneth will take the virtual stage by 12am Nigerian time on Friday, 1st October 2021 which will be 3pm Californian time.

“I want to have an exclusive virtual concert and listening party for my fans so they can listen and give me feedback on my forthcoming EP Afro Trap 2, which will be dropping Summer 2022. I want to have their feedback to I can take their opinion into consideration while mixing and mastering the album.”

Klef informed us he will be performing some of his old tracks first before delving into the new unheard tracks off the EP. He said the performance is to commemorate Nigeria at 60 and also give his fans a taste of the soon to be released EP.

Big Klef is also credited as the originator of the genre Afro Trap, which is a fusion of afrobeat and Trap. Afro Trap 2 is his long awaited sequel to his first EP Afro Trap 1.
