Xiaomi Enters Nigeria Market with Redmi 10

Mobile phone manufacturer, Xiaomi has launched its latest Redmi 10 in the Nigerian market.

The launch of the device held in Lagos and virtually to involve online stakeholders.

Marketing Director of Xiaomi Nigeria,Mr. Somoye Habeeb stated that the new device packs updated features all round that gives it an edge over competitors.

He said, ” The Redmi 10 flaunts a 6.5-inch FHD DotDisplay with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, Adaptive Sync refresh rate (90Hz), and a centered punch-hole. The panel supports both Reading mode 3.0 as well as Sunlight display.

“It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. As for software, the handset runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11”.

Speaking further, Habeeb hinted that the brand’s story in Nigeria has been an interesting one for the past 25 years. He said, “Xiaomi has become the latest company to introduce an affordable smartphone with 5G in Nigeria, launching the Redmi Note 10 5G in June 2021.

He explained that the latest also boasts a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers and comes in three different colours to suit consumers’ choice.
