Prince Emeka Stanley Chijioke Iweka Inducted into Rotary Club of Ikeja South

Lagos, Nigeria july 1, 2021

In a significant step toward global humanitarian service, Prince Emeka Stanley Chijioke Iweka was formally inducted into the Rotary Club of Ikeja South, District 9110 Nigeria, by the District Governor Rtn. Remi Bello, FCAi, who is coincidentally a proud member of the same club. The ceremony marked the beginning of the 2021 Rotary year and the Prince’s official welcome into the global Rotary family of 1.2 million members worldwide.

With a long-standing passion for service to humanity, Prince Iweka expressed that joining Rotary was a natural progression of his life’s mission. After years of impactful community work and advocacy through a foundation, he embraced the Rotary platform to expand his reach and amplify his impact globally.

In his induction speech, the newly inducted Rtn. Iweka shared a powerful quote:

“If we all feed just one hungry mouth next to us, we would end up feeding every hungry mouth in the world.”

This statement captured the essence of Rotary’s global vision and his personal philosophy of Service Above Self.

He went on to affirm his commitment to the Rotary Four-Way Test, the guiding ethical framework of Rotarians worldwide:

  • Is it the Truth?
  • Is it fair to all concerned?
  • Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  • Is it beneficial to all concerned?

Rtn. Iweka also pledged to support the Rotary Foundation selflessly and revealed his goal of attaining Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) status within the Rotary year.

His induction into Rotary aligns perfectly with his role as Chief Operating Officer and National Coordinator of Black Diamonds Support Foundation (BDSF)—a charity organization committed to supporting vulnerable populations, including victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and rape. BDSF also extends care and resources to slum communities and IDP camps across Nigeria.

Joining the Rotary Club is another affirmation of Prince Iweka’s lifelong commitment to community, compassion, and global peace-building, further reinforcing his belief that true leadership is service.
