Adeshina to Launch Blockchain Literacy Programme

A blockchain expert, Ajayi Adeshina, has revealed plans to launch a Blockchain Literacy Programme (BLP).

The initiative aims to educate and increase the level of understanding on blockchain technology in the country.

Speaking at the ‘blockchain advantage’ event in Lagos recently, Adeshina urged the young people to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the emergence of blockchain technology to grow their businesses and the economy.

He also stated the importance of the new technology and described it the ‘Future Of Things.’

Adeshina further stated that the undying passion for blockchain technology and the need for the knowledge to go round was developed when he dug deep into the technology “and discovered that it has the solution to many of the problems facing our world today.”

“With Blockchain technology, transparency becomes the other of the day. There will be very little or no manipulation in operations when Blockchain is fully deployed in every sector. With that, it is easier to win the way against corruption in every sector of the economy. Industry leaders, business people and major stakeholders both in public and private sectors must begin to think the blockchain way,” He said.

Adeshina will partner with organisers of the Blockchain Advantage Conference and other Blockchain enthusiasts in the country to enlighten Nigerians on Blockchain Technology and will continue to seek and develop new partnerships that will help fulfill the mission.
