Over 2,000 Students Empowered as Tech Outfits Take Training to UNN

Over 2,000 students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Enugu, were recently trained in emerging technologies and skills by TechyJaunt and CP.Hub Sahara.

TechyJaunt is a leading community of tech enthusiasts committed to onboarding, educating, and training individuals in emerging technologies and tech skills.

ICP.Hub Sahara is the official hub for Internet Computer protocol in West Africa.

During a panel discussion, Adedayo Adebajo, co-founder of ICP.Hub Sahara, spoke on how to launch your career in tech: building a career in tech from novice to knowledgeable.

He shared his expertise on the importance of a growth mindset when acquiring and developing new tech skills, inspiring students to embrace continuous learning and adaptability in today’s rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Speaking to journalists after the event titled ‘Beyond the campus walls: Building a tech career as a student’, he said the forum offered an opportunity for career path for youngsters in the tech sector.

He said TechyJaunt and ICP.Hub Sahara’s collaboration exemplifies their dedication to empowering the next generation of tech talent, providing students with the knowledge, resources, and mentorship needed to thrive in the digital age.

The tech event was attended by key players in the ICT sector such as Okechukwu V.A, co-founder of Blockchain UNN Enugu, Dimeji Falana, chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder of Edves, and Eliezer Ajah, the Talent Development Lead at Genesys Tech Hub, among others.
