When US-based Doctor, Rommel Asagwara, Opened Lagos Clinic

It was indeed a gathering of who is who in the social and entertainment scene two Sundays ago when Dr Rommel Asagwara, opened his third clinic, Dream Weight Botox Clinic, in Ikoyi, Lagos.

As gathered by Society Watch, his passion for the healthcare of his fellow Nigerians has prompted him to expand his inventiveness to Nigeria, as he is set to open his aesthetic clinic on Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, with the mission to bring world-class quality of care in aesthetic medicine to people in Nigeria and removing the need to travel overseas to get such services.

According to Asagwara, he was inspired to set up his third clinic after establishing two others in the USA because he wants to bring excellent services and care to Nigerians, “the same standard of care we give in the US and to reduce people travelling overseas to receive treatment,” he said.

He also spoke on what it took him to set up the clinic, saying, “It is very capital intensive because it requires a lot of funds to start, including the location and the products, which are being imported from the USA.”

Speaking on the affordability and permanency of his services, Asagwara said, “It is not as much as people think, compared to how it used to be in the past. We also have payment plans.

“Nothing is permanent in life. What I do gives one something like a nonsurgical lift and lifts one’s skin for some years. That is why I say it takes one from where one is to where one wants to go. It is durable, but it is not everlasting because we are not everlasting ourselves.”

The event had some notable personalities in attendance, including the Chairman, Ikoyi Club, Tafa Zibiri-Aliu; Aviation top shot Otunba Peter Obafemi; actress, Iyabo Ojo; entrepreneur and lawyer, Chioma Ikokwu, aka Chioma Goodhair; and Lola Omotayo-Okoye, wife of Peter Okoye of P-Square.
