In Kogi State, for instance, the CEO of Sologic Group of companies, Abayomi Bello, may be vying for a senatorial seat to represent Kogi West.
In realisation of his political dream, he is said to have been investing heavily in the state by creating economic opportunities for his people. His campaign rests on the tripod of wealth creation, empowerment and real development.
Prior to his new-found love, Bello is described as a successful businessman, who has carved a niche for himself in the global business community.
Bello, who has also demonstrated good and impressive leadership in his private business, said a lot of attention would be on job creation and placement with emphasis on craft learning, mentoring and empowerment.
Also, political analysts are of the opinion that given a bigger political platform, he will influence major infrastructural developments in his district.
