ANPA Holds Charity Golf Kitty to mark 30th Anniversary

The Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA), hosted a Charity Golf Kitty at Ikoyi Golf Club in Ikoyi, Lagos on the 9th of April, 2025.

The Kitty had in attendance over 40 participants which included medical practitioners and their guests. The Kitty was organized in collaboration with the Ikoyi Golf club who were the hosts of this year’s Golf Tournament.

The Golf Kitty was part of the week long activities to mark ANPAs 30th anniversary with the aim of increasing awareness of ANPAs activities in Nigeria

ANPA is the largest black diaspora professional organization in the world representing the interest of over 8,000 physicians and dentists of Nigerian descent practicing in the.

This year’s celebration brought together Nigerian and diaspora physicians, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and advocates from around the world to focus on advancing healthcare in Nigeria and across Africa.

After a keenly contested round of 18 holes using the stroke play format, Ewi Akpata came out tops in the Men’s category with a gross score of 83 while Funmi Omo came out tops in the Ladies category with a gross score of 90. Mike Etomi won the ANPA members category with a gross score of 93.
