Rising Nigerian Artiste Noonzi Gears Up for Debut Album Release

Nigerian music sensation Noonzi has revealed exciting details about his upcoming album, set to drop later in 2025. Born and raised in Lagos with roots in Zaria, Kaduna State, Noonzi has steadily carved out a niche in the music industry with his unique fusion of R&B, Afrobeats, and Jazz.

Speaking about his journey into music, Noonzi recalled how it all began in his primary school choir. “I started singing in the primary school choir, where my strengths also included acting and stage performance,” he shared.

Inspired by music legends such as Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey, Noonzi has developed a distinct sound that blends soulful melodies with vibrant Afrobeat rhythms. His discography includes hit singles like Anything, Shake U, Love U, Do You Feel Me, Beautiful, and Chop Am*. Additionally, he has released a three-track EP titled Can’t Stop.

Currently, Noonzi is focused on completing the mixing and mastering of his much-anticipated album. “I’m big on positive energy, good weather, nice company, and love — these elements play a huge role in my creative process,” he explained.

Reflecting on his journey, Noonzi acknowledged the challenges he’s faced, particularly criticism. However, he sees it as a learning opportunity. “I face criticism all the time; however, it’s not always negative. I believe it makes you better in so many ways,” he remarked.

The rising star emphasized the importance of staying innovative in the fast-changing music industry. “By staying current and keeping the right energy and people around, I’m able to keep my music fresh,” he noted.

Noonzi also offered insight into his personal growth, admitting that he wished he had known the importance of marketing earlier in his career. “I wished I had known the importance of investing due for releain marketing,” he revealed.

As for future collaborations, Noonzi expressed his desire to work with top artists like Tiwa Savage, Muni Long, Davido, Tyla, and Chris Brown.

Despite the challenges of the industry, quitting was never an option for him. “I have never considered quitting music as it was always therapy and a passion,” he affirmed.

Fans can expect Noonzi’s debut album to deliver themes of love, celebration, humanity, and peace. “My album is se later in the year 2025,” he announced.
