Larry Omodia Foundation Exposes Shocking Twists in Mohbad Murder Case

The Larry Omodia Foundation for Justice Reform has uncovered shocking twists in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

The foundation’s chairman, Larry Omodia, said  during a press briefing in Lagos  that the suspects in the murder case, including Omowunmi Cynthia Adebanjo-Aloba, Adura Aloba, and Damola Ayinde, will be invited for questioning imminently, following  fears of a massive cover-up.

One of the shocking twists revealed is that Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s brother, allegedly concealed material facts leading to Mohbad’s demise and demanded money in exchange for video evidence. This damning allegation has raised eyebrows and sparked outrage.

Furthermore, a TikTok chat between Adura Aloba and Yomi Fabiyi, a UN-decorated human rights activist and Nollywood actor, has revealed a disturbing pattern of behaviour. Fabiyi’s testimony has implicated Adura Aloba and other suspects, casting a dark shadow over the investigation.

Another shocking twist is the alleged cyberbullying and intimidation tactics aimed at silencing the Larry Omodia Foundation for Justice Reform.

The foundation has reported that Damilare Koleosho, aka King White and Temitope Badmus Ogunkunle, aka Temmie Official, have been behind the vicious attacks.

The Larry Omodia Foundation for Justice Reform has been working closely with the Nigerian Police Force to ensure justice is served.

Omodia emphasised: “Our position is that the public must assist the Nigerian police to bring justice. We are not leaning on any particular family member; we are leaning on the public to get Mohbad justice.”

“We will continue to have high expectations from the Nigerian Police officers who are well-trained to solve complex murder cases. We believe that justice will prevail, and we will not rest until those responsible for Mohbad’s demise are brought to book”, he said further.

Meanwhile, the foundation’s legal adviser, Mr. Alara Oluwasegun,  has reiterated the organisation’s commitment to seeking justice, stating: “We will work in tandem with the Nigerian Police Force to bring justice. Nothing is going to stop us from working hand-in-hand with the police to get justice. The quest for justice will not be frustrated. The quest for justice will not be frustrated, like I said. And regardless of the fact that Yomi Fabiyi did not show up, definitely another appointment will be arranged. But that does not exonerate the fact that the investigation into the demise of our dearly beloved Mohbad will not continue. Nothing is going to stop Love Omodia Foundation for Justice Reform from working hand-in-hand with the police to get justice.”

“We know that justice will definitely, and definitely will, prevail in this instance. We are not going to rest until those responsible for the demise of Mohbad are brought to book. We are going to follow up closely with the development of the petition and put all developments in the public space for the purpose of accountability on the part of the Nigerian Police Force”, the lawyer said further.

In a related development, the foundation has written to the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development in Ekiti State, seeking urgent intervention in the case. The letter appeals for a thorough investigation into Mohbad’s death, which has been shrouded in mystery for 16 months. The commissioner’s office has yet to respond, fueling concerns that the government may be complicit in the cover-up.

As the investigation unfolds, the Larry Omodia Foundation for Justice Reform remains resolute in its pursuit of justice for Mohbad.
