Keys the Prince Enlists Mayorkun on ‘Left Right’ Remix

As he chats newshounds, most of whom are of the arts and entertainment genre recently at Sony Music office in Lagos, Nigeria, the fervour of his talent and overwhelming confidence was glaring and appealing, such that encapsulates his prowess and precocious status in the Nigeria music scene.

He has just been officially unveiled and catalogue of his wave making songs resonated, alongside the videos played to the delight of the guests who, having heard some of the songs by chance on social media, instantly acknowledged the rising star, Keys the Prince, with thumbs of approval.

 Interestingly, one of the songs, ‘Left Right’, which bop sequel was also previewed same day, dropped Friday, May 24th, 2024, featuring afrobeats underrated superstar, Mayorkun in the remix. The original track, which took social media and music airwaves by storm, has been a fan favorite.

The remix, accompanied by a captivating music video filmed in Nigeria, is expected to further propel the song’s popularity. The visuals capture the essence of the song and showcase the dynamic collaboration between Keys the Prince and Mayorkun “The Mayor of Lagos”

 “Left Right” pays homage to iconic gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele by sampling the chorus of Ayefele’s hit song.  This homage adds a layer of nostalgia to Prince’s breakthrough song. Remarkably, Keys the Prince appears a positive entry into the music scene and one promising star to watch.
