Laleye Dipo in Minna
Members of the Organized Labour in Niger State joined their counterparts across the country in the protest over high cost of living.
The protest march started from the Labour House along the IBB way and was proceded to the State House of Assembly through the major road in the state capital
It is being led by the Chairman of the NLC Comrade Idris Lafene, accompanied by other affiliate union leaders.
Lafene is expected to present the demand of Labour at the House of Assembly.
The police and other security agencies are also on hand to protect the protesters
So far, the protest has been peaceful.
