Zulum’s Spokesman, Isa Gusau, is Dead

Mallam Isa Gusau, the spokesman of Borno State governor, is dead. He died in an Indian hospital.
Gusau who was also the spokesman of l Vice President Kashim Shettima, when he was governor of Borno State, was on admission at the Indian hospital for over a month for an undisclosed ailment.
He died on Thursday in a specialist hospital in New Delhi after a protracted illness, according to a source who would not like to be quoted.
The source said: “We have lost Isa to the cold hands of death. He was unconscious for about three days, we were all praying for his recovery but it was quite unfortunate that we lost him this evening in the hospital in New Delhi, India.”

Gusau was said to be actively involved in the publicity of the governor right from his sick bed in India, issuing statements to promote his boss.

The state government is yet to issue a statement of his passing and when his corpse would be brought home for interment.
