The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has applauded the President over the appointment of Rear Admiral Ikechukwu Ogalla as Chief Naval Staff.
Kalu stated that the appointment is a diversity sensitive one made by the President who is determined to lead an inclusive government and promote national cohesion in the country.
He thanked the President for his proactiveness in appointing capable hands to man key areas of the new administration.
While congratulating the new Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Ikechukwu Ogalla, for being found worthy for this esteemed position, the Deputy Speaker who is from the Southeast expressed his confidence in his competence and capacity to deliver.
He further urged the South East to support the current administration as their interests are well secured by President Tinubu.
