Revelation Church: From a Bible Prayer Group to a Congregation of Thousands

What began as a Bible study and prayer group in Woodland Hills, CA in 2013, has since evolved and grown into a full blown place of worship for thousands seeking further understanding of the Bible and knowledge of Jesus.

Founded on the doctrines of teaching the love of Jesus to the world, Revelation Church LA, is a prophetic Bible ministry rooted in the principle of building stronger families through practical education.

Revelation Church was formally founded in 2017, but it wasn’t until 2019 that it was officially filed as a domestic LLC in the state of California with certificate verification number VKW5BY.

The founder Lovy Longomba Elias was born to Congolese parents on November 25, 1985, in Nairobi, Kenya. His father Lovy Longomba Sr. and His grandfather Vicky Longomba were both musicians. His father was a member of Orchestra Super Mazembe, a Congolese band, and the grandfather was a member of TPOK Jazz.

Lovy himself was also a musician who co-founded a hip-hop/soukous musical group with his late brother Christian who died in 2021 and cousin Masego called the Longombas. The group was disbanded in 2007 after his brother Christian was diagnosed with a brain tumor which led to their relocation to the US.

After the disbandment of the group, Elias focused on writing and producing for other artists like Tinie Tempah, K. Michelle and Izzy Azalea. His work for Azalea earned him a Grammy nomination in 2014.

In 2021, Revelation Church moved to its permanent headquarters and worship center. The building which is reportedly valued at well over 8 Million Dollars is located at 580 E Easy St Simi Valley, California. The church holds her activities every Thursday at 7:40pm and Sundays at
