at Schweppes New Flavour Launch
Nigerian music icon 2Baba, joined by Wande Coal, Reekado Banks, and Johnny Drille, dazzled guests at the recent launch of Schweppes’ new Zobo and Ginger variants.
Marking the occasion, the OX Restaurant and Lounge located in Victoria Island, Lagos, was transformed into a visual spectacle using bright lights, a DJ stand, a mini-stage, and a sitting arrangement that accommodated an impressive number of guests.
To truly savour the unique flavours of ginger and zobo, guests were treated to popular Nigerian music and several servings of canapes that blended well with fizzy cocktails and mocktails concocted using both variants as the base.
Not long after the event kicked off with Nancy Isime and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as hosts, Johnny Drille took to the stage to perform a medley of his top-charting songs including ‘Hallelujah, and the evergreen ‘Romeo and Juliet’. The afterparty event was anchored by 2Baba, Wande Coal, and Reekado Banks, all thrilling guests until dawn.
Attended by industry’s favourites like duo Schweppes ambassadors Sharon Ooja and Mike Edwards, Derin Odugbesan-Thomas, Mimi Onalaja, Idia Aisien Jemima Osunde, the event could easily be termed as a gathering of the stars in an evening filled with mystic and magic.
