Dufil Emerges Brand of the Year at Leadership Award

Dufil Group has been recognised as the brand of the year at the just concluded Leadership Annual Conference and Awards 2020

The special recognition extended to the five subsidiaries of Dufil Prima Foods Plc, including :De united Foods Industries, Northern Noodles Ltd, Pure Flour Mills Ltd, Insignia Print Technology LFTZ Enterprise and Raffles Oil LFTZ Enterprise.

According to the award organisers, Dufil qualified for the award having exhibited rare qualities that made it sustain market dominance among competing brands, in the interest of consumers.

“The firm has consistently applied professional marketing principles to drive popular, affordable and accessible food brands that are acceptable across all classes and social spectrum,” the organisers affirmed.

It explained further that the vetting criteria were based on on a balanced scorecard that assigns weighted averages to leadership, innovation, market share and process improvement.

Others are financial performance, employee job satisfaction, social and environmental focus, and compliance with extant regulatory requirements.

Commenting on the award, Dufil Prima Foods Group Corporate Communications and Event Manager, Temitope Ashiwaju, assured that the company would continue to deliver quality that it was known for.

He said, “As a consumer service goods company and partner in the development of Nigeria’s economy, we will continue to put our best effort in line with implementing best practices, thus contributing to both economic prosperity and industrial harmony in Nigeria.

“We know that to whomever much is given, much more is expected. Therefore, we see these awards as incentives for us to do more in bringing different innovations into the production and marketing of our brands. We will not disappoint in that regard.”

The Leadership Conference and Awards was organised by Leadership Media Group to celebrate those considered by the organisation as having distinguished themselves in the public and private sectors in the previous year.
