Integrated Marketing firm, ABT Marketing Nigeria Ltd has launched an online business directory where artisans and small and medium enterprises operators can connect and interact with their potential customers.

According to the organisation, the move aligned with the Federal Government’s efforts at boosting economic development, by leveraging Information Communications Technology (ICT) resources.

Managing Director of the firm, Ridwan Onitolo explained that the platform “is designed for end to end business owners and users” to connect within and outside their network, while enhancing owners visibility.

“The web platform would afford artisans and any business owner an opportunity to advertise, showcase and communicate with consumers”, Onitolo pointed out.

He added that the service, which comes free for the first one year, would also bridge trust gap between buyers and sellers.

“Often time, we see artisans screed their names on street walls in the name of advertisement, whereas people are scared in dealing with such business owners as they are unsure of the source.

“To get onboard, all you need to do is to list yourself with the organisation’s management, get verified and your subscription will be live on the web.

“All skilled workers such as bakers, plumber, tailor, screeders, painters, barbers, stylists, mechanics/engineers, carpentry, make-ups, tie and dye and events planners, amongst others can now list themselves for easy access by users

“We are offering free advertisement package for selected entrepreneurs. This will come as a giveaway on feedback we get through direct training programme we run time to time. Our media crew will do a creative advertising package and interview the business owner and sell it on media channels for clients to achieve tremendous growth”.

Onitolo informed that the platform would also give subscribers more edge at ABT forthcoming annual Trade Exhibitions and fair coming up in Lagos.

He highlighted some benefits of the fairs as “visibility of products, trainings, digital and contemporary marketing, amongst others.”

“We urge entrepreneurs to start lisiting their businesses on the web which is ready for outreach, while booking for space for the trade exhibitions has also commenced”, said Onitolo.
