inq.Digital Wins Smart Solution Enabler Award

inq.Digital, a Cloud and Digital Service provider has been adjudged Emerging Smart Solutions Enabler Company of the year and Enterprise Broadband Services provider of the year at the 12th edition of Beacon of ICT (BoICT) Awards, which held recently in Lagos.

The theme for this year’s edition is “5G: Exploring New Frontiers for Superior Service Delivery,” and it focused around 5G, which if harnessed to its fullest potential, will support the accelerated rise of the Internet of Things, enabling a smarter and more connected world, according to the organisers.

Publisher of Nigeria Communications Week, organisers of Beacon of ICT awards, Mr. Ken Nwogbo, while presenting the awards, said: “The award is a testament to the talents, innovations, contributions and commitments to the growth of the ICT industry, which shows that industry stakeholders and members of the public appreciates the values of inq. Digital’s hard work, sincerity and dedication towards the development of the ICT industry”
Speaking on the recognition, Managing Director, inq. Digital, Mr. Valentine Chime, said: “We are honoured and inspired by the awards to sustain our commitment towards the growth of Nigeria’s ICT industry. Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, who was represented at the event by the Chief Executive Officer, Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria, Muhammed Rudman, commended inq.Digital Nigeria, and encouraged the business to continue providing leadership in its service offerings.

He said 5G remained the right way for serious minded technology driven countries and that Nigeria was committed to leading the way, having been working with countries, institutions and organisations that are ahead of the country in technology revolution.
