Former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Saturday, honoured invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and he is currently undergoing interrogation at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
Spokesman of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed this to THISDAY Saturday evening. The EFCC official said, “He honoured an invitation by the commission.”
He also confirmed that the former Senate President was still at the commission’s office at the time THISDAY called for confirmation.
Sources told THISDAY that Saraki honoured the commission’s invitation shortly after attending a wedding ceremony in Abuja on Saturday.
THISDAY gathered that the EFFC will issue a statement on it later this evening.
