The Senate on Thursday resolved to beam its searchlight on the over N1.8 trillion spent on power generation in the country since 2013.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Power, Senator Gabriel Suswam, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the upper chamber has therefore summoned the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, and other top officials of the Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE) and Distribution Companies (Discos) to say what they know about the said Fund.
