Fidelity Bank Empowers Customers in Ariaria Market

As part of efforts to assist traders and other loyal customers, Fidelity Bank Plc has doled out N2.8 million to seven beneficiaries under its promo entitled ‘Fidelity Savings Loyalty Scheme (FSLS),’ in Ariaria International Market, Aba.

Explaining the reason for the empowerment, Fidelity Retailing Banking Officer, Johnson Akaolisa said the bank decided to reward some loyal customers in order to promote their business, adding that in the last four years, the bank had rewarded about N2.6 billion to over 6,323 customers.

Akaolisa said “If you have an average of N50,000 in your personal savings account, you will qualify for N3 million draw. Another one is if you top up your savings account with N200,000 you will qualify for N10 million draw while for children’s savings account, the child is qualified for N150,000 draw.

“For new account openers, just have about N20,000 and you are qualified for N500,000 draw. This is approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to reward our loyal customers”, he said.

According to him, “when we have 50 members in a cluster banking with us, we will reward one of them and the rest will queue up for their own turn.”

In his remarks, the Chairman of Ariaria Traders Association (ATA), Chief Lucky Akubueze, advised traders to imbibe the culture of saving with the bank describing the financial institution as a trusted and tested bank that has the interest of her customers at heart.

“Fidelity Bank is a strong bank and we are proud to partner with her. We see Fidelity as number one bank in Ariaria market. Bank with Fidelity because we can vouch for them”, he stated.

One of the beneficiaries and mother of Abraham Ofonime Umoh, Mrs. Umoh Kelechi, expressed happiness for the reward and called on parents and guidance to open savings account with Fidelity Bank.

Those who were presented with cheques of N500,000 included Martins Okechukwu Nwachukwu, Raymond Nwankwo Ikechukwu, Chibuzo Edede, Chika Hyginus, and Rising Sun Committee of Friends. The two children who were rewarded with N150,000 each are Chinemere Kamsochukwu Isaac and Abraham Ofonime Umoh.
