THE UNJUST WILL INHERIT INJUSTICE

THE UNJUST WILL INHERIT INJUSTICE

Monday letter2

If you don’t like something you will continuously oppose it. But if you don’t like something and you also refuse to oppose it as you gradually begin to be assimilated by it, you will also begin to lose your dislike for it.

Because I hate injustice, I know that to keep quiet is to begin to be assimilated by injustice. As a result I begin to accommodate certain level of injustice to the extent that over time I will fully become one of the unjust people in the society.

People do injustice not because they prefer injustice to justice. It is because as selfish and greedy people they cannot afford to be on the side of justice. This is especially having done their profit and loss rationalization.

But what they have failed to also take into consideration is that as the saying goes “he who laughs last laughs best,” or that “the patient dog eats the fattest bone.”

In other words, accumulation of injustices will eventually lead the unjust becoming victim of injustice, while accumulation of justice is like sowing a seed and the harvest is bound to be enormous. No one harvests what he did not sow.
