Mr. Eazi Clinches First Multinational Endorsement

Nigerian Music sensation, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known by this stage name-Mr. Eazi, who is currently working on his Lagos to London project, was recently unveiled as the brand ambassador for the gaming brand betPawa.

At an event to reward the first jackpot winner of the sports betting platform Utibe Amos with a cheque of N1.8m, the Leg Over’ crooner said that this is his first Multinational amabassador deal which he believes will be a long lasting relationship “This is the first time I’m doing a longer term endorsement with a multinational company. What I have done in the past is on shorter terms but this is for a longer period.”

Launched in Nigeria last year, betPawa is a licensed sports betting company in Africa that is owned by an international group of widely experienced investors with boasting decades of participation in global online betting. The parent company operates in Kenya with offices in Uganda and Zambia.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the platform Segun Somefun, the main goal of betPawa is to become the best and largest online sports betting business in Nigeria while satisfying sports bettors with excellent products and customer service.

He said: “We want to replicate the success we have recorded in other countries in Nigeria by using technology to drive betting. Which is why we partnered with telecommunication companies to allow betting fans to use airtime to play. This makes it easier for players.”

Due to the huge fan base and catalogue of works that have marked Mr. Eazi’s career, the company deemed him fit to represent the company.
