A former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Ondo State, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, has picked the nomination form to represent Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly.

A statement from his campaign office said Akinmade will be contesting on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The statement recalled that Akinmade had been adopted by the local government executives of the PDP in Idanre/Ifedore constituency as its candidate for 2019 election.

The statement further said, “His globally acknowledged quality, the fear of God, has precipitated his choice for a seat in the lower chamber next year by his people.”

A consummate journalist, Akinmade, was the Special Adviser to former House of Representatives Speaker Dimeji Bankole on Media and Communication before he was appointed by former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko as Information Commissioner.
