The Lagos State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Moshood Salvador, yesterday defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Salvador, who had been at loggerheads with the party’s leader in the state, Chief Bode George, was only last week released from prison custody after being freed by the court over alleged complicity in the murder of the PDP’s Apapa Local Government Area Chairman, Prince Adeniyi Aborishade.

Salvador defection will be made formal at a rally soon, according to him.
Salvador who was surrounded by hundreds of his supporters at his house in Surulere, Lagos, yesterday, said about 15,000 members of the party has appended their signatures to follow him to the APC.
