- To send supplementary bill to National Assembly

Almost 30 days after the National Assembly transmitted the 2018 budget to the executive, President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday at the State House, Abuja signed the 2018 Appropriation Bill into law.
The president’s assent to the bill was however, predicated on an agreement with the National Assembly that a supplementary bill would subsequently be sent to the federal legislature to address some appropriations which the executive believes are not implementable.
