Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Muhammad Jibrin Barde, has unveiled the logo that encompasses his vision for the state and principles that would guide it ahead of a formal launch to be announced later.
In a statement released by his camapaign office on Monday, Dan Barde thanked all his supporters for believing in the project and for their steadfastness.
Quoting Barde, the statement read in parts: “Today we have unveiled the logo of our movement. The logo’s colours of green white green reflect my larger view of our movement and patriotic commitment to our country.
This flag, encapsulates our state map, showing we are part of our country and our commitment to our unity, peace and progress of Nigeria.
” The gold strip represents the enduring wealth of our state which we intend to tap for the progress and prosperity of our people.
The Gombe map has the APC symbol, broom, permeating the entire state, and waiting to sweep the corrupt and irresponsible PDP Govt of the state in 2019.
“Our slogan for progress and prosperity is a clear message of what our goals and objectives are for the state.
“We have prepared our vision for the state and We will soon unveil our manifesto, and on the day of our formal declaration, we will circulate same to all.
“I thank everybody for your commitment to this project and assure all that I will continue to uphold your trust”
