President Muhammadu Buhari thursday renewed the appointment of the Chief Medical Director of the National Hospital, Dr Jafaru Alunua Momoh and the Medical Director of the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu, Dr. Nwadinigwe Cajetan Uwatoronye, for the second time.

According to the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, the renewal of the appointment of Momoh and Uwatoronye by President Buhari was for the final term.

The minister said: “The appointments are to take effect from July 5, 2018 and May 30, 2018, respectively.”

He urged the two CMDs “to improve on achievements already attained in the hospitals to justify the confidence reposed on them.

“I also hope that their reappointments would enable them work collaboratively with all stakeholders, ensuring harmony and continuous delivery of quality healthcare services to the populace,” Adewole added.
