Abolaji Banjoko professionally known as Beejay Sax held guests and sax lovers spellbound on recently at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos with the second edition of his concert themed ‘Beejay Sax Live’.
The hall was filled with over 4000 guests inclusive of royal fathers, religious leaders, captains of industry, past and present state leaders who were seated in less than one hour into the event proper, hence making the concert a sold out and highly successful event.
The atmosphere was electric and the air was thick with every act like Nathaniel Bassey, Frank Edwards, Big Bolaji, Tosin Bee, Tim Godfrey, Odunayo Aboderin, Femi Okunuga, Olaolu Gbenjo, Onos, Bukola Bekes, Ifeoluwa Odogiyan, Damola, The Gratitude (COZA, Abuja) all praising God in different dimensions. Other acts on the bill were Still Ringing, SLK, Grand Komanda and Kenny Blaq raising the bar one after the other.
Ushering Beejay Sax on stage was the host, Gbenga Adeyinka 1 who had the whole hall in a rousing ovation as Beejay Sax mounted the stage in a choreographed entrance and amazing performance. The highlight and extremely emotional part of the event was Beejay Sax’s performance with two young saxophonists, Demilade and Temmy. It was a moment of joy and fulfillment for him.
Beejay Sax Live is not just a concert, but a time of fellowship with people from every walk of life in the presence of God. It’s also about raising a platform for others, especially the younger generation.
