Niger Gov Advocates Collaboration between All Arms of Govt

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, has said that the three arms of government should collaborate for the development of the state and the country.

Governor Bello said a situation where one arm of government acts as if it is more important or more powerful than the other would bring about friction and crisis in the polity.

The governor made the remarks in a message he sent to the “first post budget passage  dinner” organised by the state House of Assembly Tuesday night in Minna, the state capital.

“We are all in the positions we are to work and serve the people, we should not allow the powers of our offices to make us to deal with or see others as inferior to us

“We must work together, speak with one voice so that the society will be better for it,” he said, adding that when the arms of government worked at cross purposes it could create anarchy.
