Tour Nigeria Set to Celebrate Nigerian Flavours

Nigerian Flavours will hold in Abuja, a safe family oriented, clean, peaceful and fast growing tourism destination on March 17. It is aimed at showcasing the rich culinary diversity of Nigerian cuisine and delicacies. The event is an initiative of the Ministry of Information and Culture, in collaboration with the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in line with the objectives of the “Tour Nigeria”.

 “Nigerian Flavours,” according to a release, signed by the Head of Press/Public Relations of NTDC, Mrs. Adamma Afanga, on behalf of the NTDC’s Director-General, Mr. Folorusho Coker, promised to showcase the diverse gastronomy of Nigeria and promote Abuja as a destination for fun, hospitality and relaxation.

“Over 60 food and beverage vendors across Nigeria will be in attendance with musical performances and gastrocomedy by Nigerian artists. There will also be merchandizing opportunities for arts, crafts and fashion with consideration for Safety for all especially children with their own games area. A new twist to this event is the affordable farmers market set to offer organic produce for health conscious Nigerians and people at large,” said a statement from NTDC.
